Show Merilyn Rogers --Jerry --Jerry L. Rogers Wed Now making- their home in Salt Lake are just-weds Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee Rogers. The bride is the former Miss Merilyn Rogers daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo R.' Rogers, 1182 Browning Ave. The young couple recited wedding wed-ding vows in the solemnity of the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Thursday. The new Mrs. Rogers greeted her friends and relatives at a reception m the Reception Center gowned in a model of lace and tulle underscored under-scored with taffeta. The bouffant skirt was formed by alternate panels of lace and tulle and the lace bodice was fashioned with round, scalloped neckline, and long sleeves tapering to points at the wrists. A pearl-trimmed bridal cap held her veil in place and she carried a bouquet of stephanotis and carnations carna-tions centered with an orchid. Attendants were Mrs. L. Kent Bardsley, matron of honor. Miss Marjorie Anderson, Miss Donna Rogers, Miss Margaret Rogers, and Miss Barbara Boelter. - L. Kent Bardsley was best man and ushers were Leo A. Rogers and Gerald Peterson. The bride has been the inspiration inspira-tion for many pre-nuptial parties and among hostesses have been Mrs. Ruth B. Pettet and Mrs. Oren J. Chorn, Miss Anderson, Miss Boelter and Mrs. Bardsley.' |
