Show WESTMINSTER MARDI GRAS PROVIDES FUII Highlights of activities of the college year at Westminster was the Mardi Gras held Saturday. Sponsored by the Sigma Pi Alpha, Al-pha, honorary language fraternity, the theme was international in scope, and booths provided foods from all countries. Concessions and booths displayed1 typical carnival fare including: Spanish, German, American and Island foods. Fun booths provided entertainment entertain-ment for the guests, dancing concluded con-cluded the program. The grand march was in charge of Kathie Farikoff and highlighting highlight-ing the dance festivities was the nomination of Bob Nielson as king of the Mardi Gras and his wife, Myrna, was his queen. The young couple was dressed in Spanish native na-tive dress. Ann Cecil, who designed her own costume, came as an Elf, and won first prize for best costume. Jesse Johnson, who came in an old fashioned striped bathing suit received first prize for the men. Committee members included Eddie Campos, Nancy Johnson, Bill Lewis, June Slater, Alson Louisr Don Lora, Harry Chuck, Harry In-man, In-man, Sara Erickson, Charlotee Baird, Peggy Ebenstein and Bob-Adams.
