Show SUGAR HOUSE FLOAT WINS PARADE PRAISE (July 24) The elaborate Sugar House float in the Pioneer Days parade in down town Salt Lake drew much applause ap-plause from the throngs. Miss Sherrie Middough, queen, and her attendants, Misses Georgie Felsted and Bobbie McDean, graced the huge float, bedecked with a lovely, lacey pink heart for a background back-ground which accentuated the sheer white formal of the queen. Pink gowns graced the attendants attend-ants and lent a delicate and tasteful taste-ful bit of color to the artistic float. Little Miss Dale Ann Preece, four years old, sat in a huge saucer in front of the float and tossed candy to the myraids of youngsters who lined the miles long course of the parade. The float was the creation qf Horace A. and Morgan Sorensen. |
