Show JEAN A. JENSEN TO HEAD RELIEF SOCIETY Jean A. Jensen, 1540 Millcreek Way, was named president of the Gilford LDS Ward Relief Society it a reorganization meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Jensen will take the office vacated by Ora Peterson, who with her husband, Holger Peterson, Peter-son, has been called to preside over the Danish LDS mission. Sustained to assist Mrs. Jensen were Natalie C. Day, welfare counselor; coun-selor; Rhoda Stay, work counselor; Lilla Taylor, secretary-treasurer; Roxie Robbins, theology; Catherine Cather-ine Green, chorister; Bonita Davis, organist; Edna Papworth, teacher's teach-er's topic; Thelma Daybell, workday work-day director; Iris Sondrup, work activity; Jean Collett, literature; Elsie Taylor, social science. Other officers named were Gladys Sorensen, Sor-ensen, Lyle Thomas, Ora Malm, Agnes Pouch, Elizabeth Davis, Catherine Meyer Clara Brown and Gladys Healy. The group met Thursday afternoon after-noon at the Jensen home for the first business meeting. Following the meeting a social hour was enjoyed and a surprise personal shower honored Mrs. Petersen. Spe-wcial Spe-wcial guest was Veoma Hormon of I the Relief Society stake board. The hostess served refreshments. |
