Show NEW SHOPPING CENTER SET BY STERLING CO. Another building project in the business district of Sugar House was announced by Sterling Furniture Furni-ture company, with the proposed construction of a small shopping center at 2017-llth East, adjacent to the present store. The building on the property will be torn down under the plans now outlined. Miles E. Miller, architect, said the firm had recently received bids for the construction of seven retail shops under one roof. The modernistic mod-ernistic structure will cover more than 8,300 square feet of space. No contract has been let, but bids range from $61,793 to $77,350 for a brick, glass, steel and concrete structure. |
