Show Board of Health Report Communicable disease reports from local health officers to the Utah State Department of Health for the week ending March 2,how ed a slight increase in the number of cases of communicable diseas-es diseas-es over the previous week, a total 'of 558resident cases and 28 nan, I resident cases was reported as compared with 530 resident and 29 nonresident cases for the pre-vious pre-vious week. The number of cases of measles meas-les showed a decided increase, a ttal of 124 cases were reported as compared with 46 for the pre- vious week. Mumps and scarlet .fever both s'lowed a slight decrease from the previous week. Two cases of pulmonary tuber-culosis tuber-culosis were reported from Salt Lake county. Cache county report ed one case of undulant fever, the patient is an adult male and according ac-cording to the attending physician physi-cian the source of the infection was "raw milk from an infected cow." A fatal case of epidemic men ingitis in an infant was reported from Summitt county. One non-resident non-resident case of this disease was also reported. Utah county reported report-ed 5 cases of rheumatic fever and one case of this disease reported ed from Casche county. Two nonresident non-resident cases of this disease also reported. Six cases of epidemic diarrhea of the newborn were reported from Salt Lake county.
