Show o Sugar House Turns on White Way' Friday, April 8 Sugar House's great "white way" lighting system will go into full use the night of Friday, April 8, according to plans announced an-nounced this week by M. L. "Bud" Brain, chamber president. In ceremonies held that evening, eve-ning, the master switch will be turned on by John C. Barnes, chamber committeeman in charge of the lighting project. Mr. Barnes has been given the honor, Mr. Brain said, because of his long, unstinting service in obtaining the new system for Sugar House. City and state officials, and other dignitaries, will be invited to attend, Mr. Brain said. Best System Officials of the Utah Power and Light Company pointed out that the street lighting here is unquestionably the best and most modern in the Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain West. The city commission was instrumental in getting the system for Sugar House, A. L. Leick, power company representative represen-tative said. Business Open House Business establishments in Sugar House will hold open house Friday evening. April 8, in honor of the event, Mr. Brain announced.
