Show Granite High PTA Schedules Talks On Teenage Group A series of special lectures will be sponsored by the Granite High Parent-Teachers Association Associa-tion commencing Thursday, Nov. 1. The lectures will be aimed at giving the parents an understanding under-standing of the problems of teenagers. Dr. W. Dean Belnap, will present the lectures, according accord-ing to Mrs. Horace A. Sorensen, adult education. chairman of the PTA at Granite. The lectures were arranged as a result of requests received at the October meeting of the organization. orga-nization. The first three lectures will be on the development of the child. The first discourses will be stepping stones to three classes on the development of the adolescent personalities. The teen age problems - how they develop and how to solve them will also be treated. Mrs. Sorensen advises that no registration fee will b charged since the cost has been underwritten under-written by the Granite District Board of Education. The six lectures' lec-tures' will 1oe given in the music room at the school and will commence com-mence at 7:30 p.m. for six consecutive con-secutive Thursdays. Officials directly concerned with sponsoring the course include in-clude Mrs. Melvin D. Boley, president of the PTA, Ernest C. Clayton, director of adult and vocational education for the Granite School district, and Mrs. Sorensen. |
