Miss O'Shane will play character parts and second leads because of her proven ability and talent. Mr. Jansen, who is Miss O'-Shane's O'-Shane's husband, played formerly form-erly at the old Wilkes Theatre in Salt Lake, and has worked with Gladys George, Marjorie Rambeau and Willard Mack. playing with such luminaries as Sophie Tucker, Mae Robson and Pat O'Brien. Mr. Parker was soloist at the Chicago Theatre for a long time, and had as his accompanist the well - known organist, Jesse Crawford. Locally Local-ly they are both known for their mtisical comedy show which played for sixteen months straight at the Playhouse Theatre Thea-tre (now the Lyric) . Other main parts will go to William Anderson, Vy O'Shane, Sparkling entertainment during dur-ing the winter season for the people of the South East was promised this Week by Mae Tib-bits Tib-bits and Tom Parker, founders of the newly-organized "South East Theatre Guild." A series of musical comedies, to be played every other wee"k at the Irving High School, will be the featured event of the Guild's activities during the coming months. According. to Mae Tibbits. the director, the shows will be in story form and will feature specialty numbers by local girls from the various dancing schools as well as an orchestra. Miss Tibbits emphasized that there will be none of the "burlesque atmosphere" in her shows. Entertainment En-tertainment value will be much greater, she said, because of the excellence of the cast, the music and the comedy. Miss Tibbits boasts of an experienced ex-perienced cast with a background back-ground of many years of show work.
