Show Mrs. Alfonso Anderl Leaves for Coast Meet Mrs. Alfonso Anderl, Utah State president and regent ' of Rose of York Chapter, Daughters Daugh-ters of the British Empire, will leave Monday, April 12, for Los Angeles and Sierre Madre to attend at-tend the annual meetings of the western district held April 14. This organization is composed of members of British descent residing in the United States and was created for the purpose of bringing about a better understanding un-derstanding between English speaking people, also for support sup-port of old people's homes of which there are four in different differ-ent sections of the country. Los Angeles is western headquarters. head-quarters. The meeting was called for presentation of annual an-nual reports, resolutions and other business matters connected con-nected with the organization. The Rose of Y-.irk Chapter has charge of the English section of the World Peace Garden now being prepared near Jordan Park. After conferring with the; western organizing section Mrs. Anderl expects to complete plans that are already being made for several other chapters in various parts of the state. Mrs. Anderl has been a resident resi-dent of Sugar House for 27 years. Her home is at 1904 So. 13th East. |
