Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond An interesting social event of the past week was the silver wedding anniversary of MR. and MRS. GEORGE CROWTH-ER, CROWTH-ER, former ward members and now residents of Holladay. Many of their friends from this vicinity were invited out to help them celebrate the evening. eve-ning. Enjoying the mountain scenery scen-ery in and around Salt Lake are MR. and MRS. CHARLES BOND of Kansas City, Missouri. They are the guests of the Mel Bonds and are having a fine time getting acquainted with their three grandchildren while they are visiting here . . . Par ticipating in the crowning of the queen on the Capitol steps on Monday night was our own A. WM. LUND. He is assistant church historian and was there in an official capacity. Extensive plans are being made by the bishopric and the committee for the ward outing to be held July 28 at Boxelder Flats. Keep the date in mind. ... By the way, Richards Ward won the prize for having the most in attendance at the stake outing at Lagoon. Enjoying a vacation trip to Yellowstone Park are MR. and MRS. PAUL COWAN, 1865 South 11th East. They are accompanied ac-companied by their young sons. KEITH NORTH is home from the hospital and though he will be on crutches for some time he is coming along nicely. |
