Show '47 Days Queens Chamber Guests The queen and her two attendants at-tendants of the Days of '47 celebration cele-bration were guests of the Sugar House Cha niter of Commerce Com-merce at its -monthly meeting held Tuesday noon at Weasku Inn, 2263 East 21st South. Miss S h a u n a Wood, celebration queen, Cherry Moslander and Robyn Tibbs, attendants, spoke bri fly to the members about scheduled events of Days of '47. They were accompanied by Mrs. Newell K. Brown of the Daughters Daugh-ters of Utah Pioneers. Special Film Following the luncheon a special film on building profits in business was presented by William K. Goeglin of the Na tional Cash Register Co. He was introduced by Richard A. Lambert, Lam-bert, chamber director. The film outlined several steps in insuring good profits for retail re-tail businesses. Comedy feature of the luncheon lunch-eon came while Mr. Goeglein was setting up his equipment. Paul L. Pehrson, former secretary, secre-tary, announced to the members that M. L. "Bud" Brain, chamber cham-ber president, was adept in a reading of a British poem. After some coaxing, Mr. Brain presented pre-sented "Li'l Albert at the Zoo, complete with British accent. Chamber members applauded for an encore but the president had exhausted his repertoire. |
