Show Pioneer Sons Of Sugar House To Name Head Members of the Sugar House camp, Sons of Utah Pioneers, have called a special meeting for next Monday at 8 p.m. at Lincoln ward to elect a new president to succeed Wendell J. Ashton who took over Aug. 1 as president of the state SUP organization. or-ganization. The Sugar House group, organized or-ganized this summer, already has a membership of well over 100, and is one of the most active groups in the state. Dr. L. L. Richards and Frank Lees are vice presidents, and John W. Boud is secretary. The group put over a highly successful La.Tipntea and.h.ike to the old pi-oneer pi-oneer camp site on Big Mountain Moun-tain during the Days of '47, and plans are now being made for a big dance to be held early in the fall. Heading the committee in charge of this event is James R. Cahoon, assisted by Keith Walker, Phil Rasmussen, Clyde Hardy and Ray Alston. A full attendance at Monday's election meeting is requested. |
