Weekly newspaper advertising during the Sixth War Loan totaled total-ed an estimated $2,658,246, an increase of five percent over the Fifth War Loan, and Drought the 1944 total to an estimated value of $8,804,274, and increase of 24 percent over 1943, the treasury department has announced. There was an estimated 95,284 sponsored ads in weeklies and newspapers contributed an add-tional add-tional 6,485, making the total 101.769 in the Sixth loan. The estimated es-timated number of sponsored lines was 89,550,482 and newspapers contributed, in lines, 3,488,129. The total in column inches of spon sored space was 6.396.462 with 249,152 inches contributed by pub lishers. At an estimated vaiue of 40 cents per inch, the total is $2, 658,246.
