The Howard Marcus duo are proudly telling the world of their first-born child who came to town Sunday at Holy Cross hospital. The Marcus son-and-heir weighed six pounds, three ounces, and is a bundle of personality per-sonality already. The youngster and his parents will be at home to friends next week at 2332 Oakhill drive. Mrs. Marcus is the former Wilma Ferderber. Grandparents are the L. J. Ferderber Fer-derber of Los Angeles, Mrs. Louis Marcus, 1283 E. South Temple, and the late Mayor Louis Marcus. Howard is a young advertising man in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. William Parkinson, Park-inson, 1353 Ramona avenue, passed out this bit of good news this week. Their daughter daugh-ter Suzanne and her husband, Lt. Jack Lyon, are parents of their third child. The new little girl, who was born Saturday Sat-urday in Ft. Sill, Okla., has older brothers, Rickie and Kent, who are really happy about having a sister in the house. Mrs. Joe V. Lyon is back in Ft. Sill now with her new little grandchild and the rest of the family. Sugar House's "Dr. Tom" and his wife, Mrs. Thomas E. Robinson, Rob-inson, have exciting plans in the making for a vacation jaunt to coastal areas. They'll travel with Dr. and Mrs. U. R. Bry-ner. I Hoping It's only a quick trip, friends and family of Jack Adamson said goodbye to him this week as he left to answer an army call. He reports re-ports in Portland in his air force group. His wife, new baby boy, John Lennox, and children, Hugh and Jane, are waiting in their East Mill Creek home for word on his future status. . Saw former Southeasterner Mrs. Bill Cannon and her young sons, Michael and David, shopping shop-ping the other day. Mrs. Cannon Can-non was striking in a royal blue princess style coat and matching off-the-face hat fashioned fash-ioned with a wide standing brim, accented with jewels. Southeastern friends of the C. Taylor Burtons are anxiously anx-iously awaiting their return home from Hawaii. Their Millbrook neighbors are counting on interesting stories about their South Pacific vacation. va-cation. The Burtons are traveling trav-eling with Mr. and Mrs. Elbert El-bert G. Adamson, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Holmes and the Burt E. Slaters. Newcomers to the Southeast are Mr. and Mrs. Addison Ben-nion Ben-nion and their small fry Mrs. Bennion is the former Norma Young, talented young Salt Lake violinist. Soon to move to the Southeast are those charming sisters, Virginia Beesley (Mrs. Stan.) Cannon and Beverly Beesley (Mrs. Foley) Richards. |
