Show Peerless Laundry Completes Reorganization This Week Laundry Members Purchase Ice Co. Stock H. Scott Linnell, veteran Iaun-dryman Iaun-dryman and widely known sports figure Tuesday was named president of the Peerless Peer-less Laundry Co. following a business transaction in which the "working organization of the laundry" bought the Hygeia Ice Co.'s interests in the company. com-pany. Transaction was completed Monday and for the first time since the laundry was founded in December, 1930, all officers of the institution are members of the working organization. Former Officers included J. R. Free, president; Mr. Linnell, vice president; J. C. Riches, secretary; sec-retary; Mr. Kimball, treasurer; Ray D. Free, Lester L. Smith and S. E. Lublin, directors. NEW OFFICERS New officers who were elected elect-ed at a meeting of the board of directors Tuesday and who will serve until the annual elections elec-tions are held after the first of the year, are: Mr. Linnell, president; Lester L. Smith, vice president; Ira F. Kimball, treasurer treas-urer and director; S. E. Lublin, Heber D. Smith, Paul P. Faw-son Faw-son and E. P. Westbrook, directors. direc-tors. "Now that we are all here working, it is our ambition to give the public the best there is to be had in laundry quality and service," Mr. Kimball stated. Following a policy of encouraging encourag-ing members of the working organization or-ganization to invest in ownership owner-ship of the company, Mr. Kimball Kim-ball announced that three young men were allowed to purchase stock.
