Show Sugar House Gets New Ambulance A new $3300 police ambulance unit was placed in service last week by the Sugar House police under the direction of Sgt. C. Owen Poulsen. The new streamline unit will be one of five such ambulances which will be on Salt Lake City streets 21 hours a day, Lt. H. Fred Lee. head of the police radio patrol division stated Monday. Valued at about $2000 each, the ambulances contain more than $1000 worth of equipment, including resuscitators and in-halators. in-halators. first aid kits and two roll-away stretchers. |
