Show Irving Plans Pan-American Pan-American Week Fete Pan-American Week will be highlighted at Irving with the presentation of the annual Spanish assembly Friday. The program will consist of three parts: the first, a short skit, written by Mrs. Rosemary Robinson, Rob-inson, Irving's Spanish teacher, teach-er, showing the usefulness of Spanish in this present day world. This will be demonstrated demon-strated by several students representing rep-resenting doctors, archaeologists, archaeolo-gists, designers, etc. The second sec-ond part of the program will consist of several songs and dances that are popular in Spain and Mexico (also in Irving's Spanish classes). These dances have been taught to the students stu-dents by Mrs. LeeMaster and Mrs. Needham, two Irving teachers. The last part of the Spanish program will be some movies of Mexico showing its cities and people. These movies were secured by Mrs. Robinson who has both written and directed the production. |
