Show Governor Sends Special Message on Prison Site The passage of Senate Bill 20, which designates the prison site at Sugar House as a state park, marks a milestone in recreational rec-reational and civic advancement within our state. The prison site - will become a memorial center in Utah. Memorials in the form of serviceable buildings and auditoriums will undoubtedly be constructed by civic-minded groups in honor of veterans and pioneers. The park will also become an art center for within its borders will be constructed an edifice that will house valuable art collections of many sorts. Athletic fields, sport centers, and other recreational facilities will make their appearance. Many citizens who desire to make contributions to worthwhile worth-while .projects will now have an opportunity to do so through cooperating with civic groups in the construction of memorials of various types on the old prison site.
