Show Flora Culture Club Neivs Regular meeting of the Flora Culture Garden club will be held Monday, March 22, at the Art Barn, according to Mrs. W. O. Parkinson, publicity chairman. Luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p. m. As a feature of the luncheon, University of Utah president, Dr. A. Ray Olpin, is to receive a check donated by members of the club to the U. of U. medical school to be used in cancer research. re-search. In addition, through the courtesy of the Sherwin-Williams Company, a film entitled "Doomsday for Pests" will be shown. It includes an all-star cast and music. Plans for the spring bridge tea to be held at the Ladies literary lit-erary club, Saturday, March 22, will be discussed. A limited number of tickets will be available avail-able at this luncheon. Mrs. Dan E. Riggs is chairman chair-man of the day. Table decorations, decora-tions, under the supervision of Mrs. Ralph Carlson and Mrs. John Zimmerman, will carry out St. Patrick's Day colors. |
