Show March of Dimes Ball Postponed Until Feb. 5 To Get Response Lack of response to the 1951' sale of tickets for the traditional tradition-al Polio Ball has made it necessary nec-essary to postpone the annual March of Dimes event until Feb. 5, it was anounced today by Jean Paul King, chairman of the ball. Formerly scheduled for Jan. 29 at the Rainbow Randevu, the ball will now be held one week later with George Engar and his orchestra furnishing the music. All tickets will be honored on the new date of Feb. 5, Mr. urged full support from the people of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County in donating and supporting the drive particularly par-ticularly in regard to the tickets for the ball during this added week. He declared that Salt Lake City is facing a real financial crisis in this year's appeal for funds to fight the crippling disease of polio. Only slightly more than $4400 has been collected col-lected to date which will scarcely scarce-ly care for two severe polio cases for one year, he said. Each ticket, given in return for a contribution to the March of Dimes drive, entitles en-titles a person to go to the Polio Ball and is a chance on the new 1951 Packard to be given away during the intermission inter-mission to the lucky ticket holder. hold-er.
