There are so many interesting ones it is hard to choose a few to mention. For those interested in literature there is a book edited by F. 0. Matthiessen and Kenneth B. Murdock, "The Notebooks of Henry James." The editors have spent years in editing manuscripts into which James expresses ex-presses his hopes, his misgivings, his beliefs as a creative artist, and specific problems of his craft. He also wrote his notes about books to be written and of the progress and changes made while writing. . Another Oxford Press book which will be very useful is E. T. Owens' "The Story of the Iliad" which is a commentary on the famous poem always pointing out what makes the Iliad a great classic. clas-sic. Wa opq cUll 0.nloh'nw vie. books each week.
