Show WASHINGTON NOTES Salt Lake City, Utah, has been announced by Secretary of the Interior as the new headquarters for Uie Grazing Service as the first step toward relievnig the congested situation in the National Nation-al Capital gets under way. This announcement followed a recent announcement of the decision to movei the service, whose functions J 1 are peculiarly western, to some western headquarters, thereby making available additional office of-fice space for vital emergency activities in Washington: "Salt Lake City is at the hub of the public range area admins-tered admins-tered by the grazing sen-ice." a radius of 500 miles of this point are most of the public grazing lands of the United States and by location of its offices at this point, the Grazing Service will be within easy reach of all of its field problems and much heretofore hereto-fore necessary travel from Washington Wash-ington headquarters to and from ,' the field will be eliminated."
