"Eve of St. Mark, cast includes Anne Baxter, William Eylhe, Michael O'Shea, Vincent Price, George Mathews, and others. This is a very well made war picture that concentrates more on the impact of war upon the human emotions of those who fight and those who wait. There are many moments of splendid natural comedy that rippled through the piece with no minrh- es pulled in portraying the various var-ious layers of morality among I the men of the armed forces. There are a number of fine performances per-formances turned in during the course of the story. I It is not the type of war'nim that should keep people away since it concentrates on domance and the lighter moments of army life with spice on the side. The production is a credit to producer Perlberg. pi |
