' ... ..A This week The Sugar House ' Bulletin wishes to extend its cord-1 ial "Congratulations" to Mr. Max Gilbert, an employee at the Utah, Light and Traction Company, on the twenty-seventh anniversary of his birth. Friday, February 21st. Mr. Gilbert was born, reared and educated in Murray, Utah. ' I After graduating from the Mur- I 1 ray High School. Mr. Gilbert be-! j gan a search for a lucrative oc-j cupation and the first job he obtained was with the Crystal Palace Market as a grocery clerk. A few years later he accepted a job at the Covey Gas and Oil Corryir.ny and worked as a service serv-ice tt an for three years before! demising to join the ranks of the .Traction Companv for whom he ' is v.-rrking in the capacity of Farcbox Clerk and Clerk in the Ston 1 oom. Skiing is Mr. Gilbert's favorite sport and as he works the night shift at the Traction Company he spends many a day participating partici-pating in the sport at Alt.a. Singing, Sing-ing, however, is his chief hobby, and besides being a member of the Choir in the L. D. S. Church in Murray, he forces his vocal talents upon his fellow workers at the Car Barn by adhering to the "whistle while you work" theory. At the present time Mr. Gilbert is residing with his wife and two children at 320 West 53rd South. "The Bulk-tin" also wishes to corf latulate Mr. A. M. Haines, of lfi?1 Lake Street, on his birthday, birth-day, Tuesday, February ISth. |
