Show Saturday Last Day for Vets to Register 9 Saturday being the 209th Anniversary Anni-versary of George Washington's birth, the American Legion Post No. (55 at Sugar House, looks forward for-ward to the occasion as the climax cli-max to the already swelling enrollment en-rollment of World War Veterans who crowd the headquarters for registration for the National Home Defense. It is gratifying to our patriotic public, to see that our men who shared the horrors of the last war, again come forth voluntarily to help Uncle Sam safeguard the Ameri- . can home, and to be on hand to quell any local disturbance. The drive up to Wednesday night reached an enrollment of over 300 and it is estimated that by Saturday Sat-urday this figure would be doubled. doub-led. The Sugar House Post extends appreciation to those who have so willingly helped in giving publicity to the drive: The Bulletin, Bul-letin, Mario Theatre. N. J. Hansen, Han-sen, Holladay Theatre and other business men who have cooperated. coopera-ted. j Veterans wishing to register, , should keep in mind that in order i to participate in the activities of I Home Defer.se, does not mean that it is necessary to join the I American Legion. This worthy organization is merely taking the responsibility that the work entails, en-tails, and carrying out the plans of our Government who feel that every precaution within our boundaries should be taken. Veterans may register at 2126 South 11th East, between the hours of 10 a. m. to 8 p. m., each day through Saturday, February 22nd. i : : : Mexico in Films Seen by Rotarians !
