Show Westminster Students Score r Hit With Sugar House Ciub Students of Westminster College scored a hit with members of the Sugar House Kiwanis Club Tuesday Tues-day when they presented a musical musi-cal program at the club luncheon meeting at Harmon Cafe, 1270 E. 21st South. Under direction of Professor James Vail, head of Westminster College music department, some 35 members of the concert choir won the hearts of their audience with the Joyous Christmas song, presented both in English and Norwegian. No less well received were "Salutation" "Sal-utation" by Gaines, ."Grieve Not 0 My Soul," by Williams and "Beautiful Savior," -arranged by Christiansen. The program featured Leland Spendlove of Ogden as violinist, Robert Zancanella, Green River, Wyo., as pianist, and'Angie Kraz-ich, Kraz-ich, Frezno, Calif., and Alan Tra-tos, Tra-tos, Columbia, Utah as vocalists. It was the second appearance of this year for the choir. Dr. Robert R. Runnells served as program chairman for the luncheon lun-cheon meeting. 1 ! |
