Page 12 Sugar House, Utah Thursday, September 19, IS 57 INDEPENDENT 'Twixt Us Teens by Tibby Tucker Hair today and tomorrow is be-ing worn just about any way YOU happen to like yours. " ! Only we just might mention that the long and short of the story is adding up about this way. Mem-bers of the junior high set hat group who are just now beginning to take over from Mom the care and keeping of their own tawny tresses are wearing theirs pixie style, or in the short boyish man-ner that high school girls sported a year or so ago. Meanwhile, se-nior high students have let their locks lengthen, and the casual page boy or the soft end fluff with side-swe- pt bangs, leaving a clear forehead, are the styles these co-eds love best. For proof of this pudding, skim ! hrough the fashion magazines fort reens and see for yourself how ace-setti- ng teen models and well-know- n coeds and teen stars are wearing their hair. Something to dwell upon, exper-iment with, anyway. But whatever coif you decide upon, whatever length you choose, here's a tip to hair loveliness andj achieving that quality of getting looked at twice shampoo your hair often! That means every four days at least. Rinse it thoroughly. I, Tibby, insist that this is thej hardest part of hair care because a full two minutes (by the clock) of rinsing seems like forever! But persist. Glamour is worth it. Next, choose a very simple coif. Hair just slightly curled. Diary ol Anne Frank Comes to CityTheatre "The Diary of Anne Frank," one of the outstanding plays of recent years, will come to the Cap-itol Theatre in Salt Lake City, on Monday and Tuesday nights, September 23 and 24 with a mat-inee on Tuesday. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Award as the best play of 1555-5- 6, "The Diary of Anne Frank" recently embark-ed on a coast-to-coa- st tour after playing 90 weeks on Broadway. Joseph Schildkraut of stage, screen and TV fame, is starred in the role he created on Broadway. Featured players are Maria Pal-mer, Lou Jacobi, Nan McFarland, Abigail Kellogg, Lou Gilbert and Otto Hulett. Miss Kellogg plays Anne. "The Diary of Anne Frank" was dramatized by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett from the diary kept by an adolescent Jewish girl while she and several others were in hiding from the Nazis for two years in an Amsterdam attic. Quietly, often gaily, the play re-creates the day-by-da- y life of these people, their problems, their sim-ple pleasures, their irritations and apprehensions. Produced by Kermit Bloomgar-de- n and directed by Garson Kan-i- n, "The Diary of Anne Frank" is filled with excitement, humor and tenderness and is a play for-a- ll the family. It has been suc-- cessful not only in this country but in 15 foreign countries. In Ger-many, it has been produced in 37 theatres. The management of the Capitol Theatre is to be congratulated on giving Salt Lake City and vicinity this opportunity to see one of the great dramas of the modern thea-ter. The two evening performances begin at 8:30 the Tuesday mat-inee at 2:30. Mail orders, or phone calls are now being accepted at the Capitol Theatre, Salt Lake City. NOW OPEIV Morrison Meat Pie Co.
