Show 16 1 6 are lare L MRS AIRS al J EDWARDS society editor junior prom from the most successful event ot of the school year was the junior prom which was held in the roosevelt I 1 amusement hall friday evening the committee was composed ot of the following ardis pack president of the class charles larsen larsen dorothy calder neal lundberg mervin swain william thelma harilson IIan laon and louise larsen the hall was elaborately decorated it represented a holland scene the ceiling was strung w with ith D dutch blue ribbons of paper with a large center or of tulips and at each corner was a small center ot of tulips lighted with colored globes the walls were decorated with the strips of blue paper caught at the end with a tulip the entrance was a bower ot of paper and tulips on thi the stage was a large windmill covered with colored lights run by electricity the lights going on and off as it turned the back of the mill represented a building each corner was previously bought at the assembly at school and decorated to conform to the general scheme of the he whole building the eighth rade booth represented a minature holland house and garden with a picket fence grass and flowers the ace club was a wooden shoe the fresnics Fre Fres shies bics sold punch from a clever windmill the ag club was resplendent in blue and yellow booth the fox club had the north door made into a summer garden house in which punch ice cream and candy were sold the seniors who did not compete for the prize PHU in booths bootha decorated the northeast corner with a beautiful house with window boxes of flowers and roof garden the juniors are 0 jo o be complimented anted on the effort and showing they made in this the advisors W E atwood and miss josephine woodside were well pleased by the response of the class |
