| Show KYLE mcclellan the citizens of roosevelt were pleasantly surprised to hear that geo B mcclellan and dr marian E kyle were married in vernal saturday mr and mrs craig harmston and mr mcclellan and dr kyle left here saturday for vernal presumably to attend the odd fellows ball but when they returned sunday night a little birdie whispered that they were married the bride is a newcomer in this section being one of the efficient teachers in the high school she is a charming lady and has made many friends frienda since among us the groom is a native utahn is a fine fellow and no doubt will be a congenial companion we can heartily congratulate this happy couple sunday night about 11 when all good people should have been in their beauty sleep the school children with a few lieutenants gave the couple a proper serenade bells and tin pans were the chief events in the music line they finally got the man of the house out and he was hustled to calders where refreshments were served to the hungry mob mr mcclellan took his medicine like a man the crowd then marched out to J W mathews place and they toted poor jim down to where the refreshments consisted of ice cream and cigars we been able to find out why jim had set era em up but presume it was on account of laying the cement sidewalks in roosevelt |
