Show 9oka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Mr. and Mrs. George Burgen-er, Burgen-er, of Richmond, Calif., were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. Mrs. LaRea Caldwell, of Vernal, Ver-nal, and her mother, Mrs. Bill Fausett, visited Mrs. Ariel Mi-chie, Mi-chie, Sunday afternoon. A farewell party and testimonial testi-monial will be held at th.e Ioka Ward hall Friday night, Oct 13, for Florence Percival, who is leaving for a mission to the Great Lakes field. Charlyne Stone come from Salt Lake Friday to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garret Stone. Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Benson left last week for St. George to make their home. They were accompanied by Betty Bell, sister sis-ter of Mrs. Benson. Mrs. Max Hartman, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon, Thurs- John S w e n s o n, Roosevelt Stake clerk, visited at the Chas. Percival home Friday evening. Mrs. Paul Lemon and children chil-dren were Sunday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hurst, of Kearns, Utah, were visitors at the W. G. and Tom Gentry homes Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergen-son, Yergen-son, of Myton, were in town Sunday. Mrs. Archie Benson called on Mrs. Virgil Ferguson. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival spent Friday evening with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Percival. Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook and sons, Lynn and Edgar, of Bluebell, Blue-bell, and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Angus called on Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and family Friday Fri-day evening. It was Mrs. Perci-val's Perci-val's birthday. Chas. Percival received a beating Tuesday when he was raking hay and the tongue of the rake broke and frightened the horses. They ran away, dragging Mr. Percival in the rake. Carl Johanson, of Salt Lake City, visited here Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Gladys Drollinger and sons. Alton D. Percival. Thom-'as Thom-'as Gentry and Carl Johanson called at the Angus home Sunday. Sun-day. Bishop Clifford Drollinger- left Thursday for Sacramento, Calif., where he has work for several months. |
