Show Xeetch-Sehhelt I Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dillman, ot Des Moines, Iowa, were guests, of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Houston last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam entertained members of their family at dinner Sunday in honor of their son, Wayne, who left Oct. 9 to enter military service. ser-vice. Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and family were dinner guest.; of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Morrill, of Tridell, on Sunday. Mrs. Mary E. Hamaker, of Salt Lake City, visited her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hamaker, over the weekend. A farewell party was given by the ward Thursday evening for Wayne Haslam and Clarence Gardner, who are leaving to enter en-ter military service. A program and dancing furnished entertainment. entertain-ment. Supper was served to a large crowd. Mrs. W. Long and Nellie Bolton Bol-ton visited Mrs. Blaine Morrill at Tridell on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blumer and baby spent the weekend with Mr. Blumer's mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston. The Blumers were returning to California after vacationing va-cationing in Atlantic City. Mrs. Alice Haslam, of Vernal, is here visiting her sons, John and Clair, and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Abb Price, of Vernal, visited Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam, Sunday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Garr Bolton, John Bolton, and Alden White, of Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. John Bolton and son, Charles, motored to Salt Lake City Saturday to attend at-tend a farewell party for their son, Byron, who is leaving for a mission. The party was given at the home of an uncle, Merritt I Bolton. The Boltons returned j home Sunday. |
