Powell went to Vernal Wednesday evening eve-ning to attend a wedding reception re-ception for Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Powell. Lawrence is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Powell, former Bluebell residents. resi-dents. A farewell party was held Friday, Sept. 29, for Boyd Goodrich, Deloss Bird. Andrew Allred and Glen Jenkins, who will enter military service. Boyd left on Oct. 3 to report to the army reserve corps; Deloss and Andrew will report Oct. 10, and Glenn is awaiting his call. The following program was given: male quartet, Mr. Swallow, Swal-low, Mr. Barrett, Mr. Gomm and Mr. Barton of the Altamont high school faculty; trio, Betty Lou Goodrich, Beth Winkler, and Garda Seeley; skit, Cinderella, Cinder-ella, Wallace Stevenson, Bruce Goodrich, Ronny Goodrich, Udell Winkler, Wane Workman, Billie Powell, Clyde Goodrich. Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kimball, Kim-ball, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hancock, Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Allred, Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rogers and family, of Price, visited Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jenkins. |
