Show Mrs. Albert Semken Mr. and Mrs. Abe Linhart, of Loveland, Colo., visited one day last week at the Alex Duvall home. . Mrs. Robina Ferguson left on Wednesday for Boise, Idaho, to be with her sister, Mrs. Jane Allred, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Curry and small daughter, Gail, of Salt Lake, are spending the week here with their mother, Mrs. Ruth Herron, and grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Lula Wilson. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Nile Ainge, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ainge and Mr. and Mrs. France Stewart, of Jensen. Mrs Eva Harrison and daughter, daugh-ter, Pattie, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burns Hallet. Lamar Jacobs, of Price, called on friends here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hone and daughters, Mary Ella and Darlene, of Spanish Fork, were visitors on Sunday at the Manfred Man-fred Arnolds. Speakers Sunday night at Sacrament meeting at the Moffat Mof-fat ward house were Bert Stod-I Stod-I dard, Lawrence Wall, Sr., and 'Walter Stoddard, of Leota. I Friends of Miss Mildred Du-Ivall Du-Ivall were surprised to hear of her wedding on Saturday to Denver Long, of Vernal. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall. The young couple were married at the home of Bishop Carl Richens of the Ashley Ash-ley ward, in the presence of a few relatives and friends. They left Sunday for a honeymoon trip to points in California, and expect to make their home near Vernal on their return. Moffat Ward Relief Society met Tuesday and quilted for Mrs. Stella Underwood and Mrs. Albert Harris. The Special Interest group of the Moffat Ward Mutual held a progressive supper Tuesday. Mrs-. Alice Warren, of Vernal, and Carl Blanchard, of Rangely, Colo., were afternoon visitors at the Manfred Arnold home Monday. They were enroute home from Provo, where they had taken Mrs. Blanchard for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Everett and family, of Park City, spent Sunday with their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Arnold. Mrs. Lucy Duvall and Mrs. Albert Semken called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse McCarroll in Myton, Wednesday. |
