Show LAP01HT Mrs. Mabel Jenkins Sunshine Club Honors Members ' The Sunshine Club held their birthday party at the home of Mrs. Alice Angus in honor of her birthday. The afternoon was spent playing bingo. The birthday cake was made by Mrs. Annie Warbur-ton. Warbur-ton. Members present were Mrs. Vera Caldwell, Mrs. Pearl Woolley, Mrs.., Mabel Jenkins, Mrs. Annie Warburton, Mrs. Eliza Neilson, Mrs. Ethel Taylor, Mrs. Mary Jar-rell, Jar-rell, Mrs. Sylvia Blackburn, Mrs. Barbara Nyberg, Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee, Mrs. Mae Sprouse, Mrs. Ar-dith Ar-dith Huber, Mrs. Ora Swain, Mrs. Hattie Foster and Mrs. Pearl Perry. Angus received lovely birthday gifts, given by the members. mem-bers. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Moon and family, of Hanna, were recent overnight ov-ernight guests of Mrs. Moon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster. The Davis family reunion was held at Merkl'ey Park on Saturday, Aug. 6, with a large crowd in attendance. at-tendance. Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, of Salt Lake City, is visiting with hei sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Annie Warburton. Helen Bigelow went to Salt Lake City for medical aid,, recently. Mrs. LaMar Norton and children, chil-dren, of Clearfield, were visitors of Mrs. Sarah Norton. 4-H'ERS ON OUTING Mrs. Agnes Walker and Ethel Taylor took their 4-H Club girls for an outing up Uinta Canyon, recently. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Angus An-gus came up Friday evening and enjoyed the program. Mrs. Annie Davis, of Roosevelt, and granddaughter, Alice Jenkins, accompanied Mrs. Flora Reigan and children to her home in Casper, Cas-per, Wym. for a few days. Mrs. Alice White, of Vernal, visited vis-ited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks, Wednesday. RaNee and Janet Hullinger are staying with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Hullinger are on their vacation vaca-tion to Oklahoma. " ' " ' 4-H CLUB MEETS The Jolly Stitcher 4-H Club of tapoint, met Wednesday at the ward chapel. They held a sewing revue at which time articles made this summer were displayed, in preparation for taking them to the coming fair. The Neilson family held their re- union at Lagoon in North Salt Lake. Those from here attending were Mrs. Ardith Huber and son, Kenneth; Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Huber and family; Dawn Huber and sons, Ray, Rex and Ralph; Mrs. Eliza Neilson; Lasal Neilson and son, Terry, and daughter, Jo Lynn;, Mrs. Pearless Taylor and daughter, Irene. Mrs. Eliza Neilson visited her sister, Mrs. Ann Caldlang in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. Mrs. Ardith Huber and Mrs. Shirley Huber and daughter were Vernal' visitors Friday. Mrs. Eva Huber and daughter, Margaret, were Roosevelt visitors Wednesday. Lynn Wilkins, of Roosevelt, was an overnight guest of her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow, Big-elow, Friday night. Mrs. Orpha Kump and girls, Linda and Jean, attended a birthday birth-day dinner of her granddaughter, Pamla Angus, of Roosevelt, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus, Mrs. Vera Huber and son, Martin, Mar-tin, and daughter, JoAnn, are spending a few days with her daughter and son-in-law and family fam-ily and to get acquainted with her new grandson, born July 2 to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Nyberg and family. The Primary officers and. teachers teach-ers put the program on for Sunday Sun-day evening service. Visitors at the home of Mr., and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips and children, of Cut Banks, Montana; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Blackmer and family, of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen and son, of Payson, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson. Jack Jenkins and Donna Leavitt of Provo, were overnight guests here Sunday. |
