Show I ' I I LOCAL ACTION IN Roosevelt City Readies Post Softball League According to Gordon Eldredge, city recreational manager for Roosevelt, the machinery is all set up for a post-season softball league that got underway last night (Wednesday), and will continue con-tinue through August 29th. Six ; teams have entered the fray, i The six teams are composed of i Bridgeland, Fort Duchesne, Myton No. 1 and Myton No. 2, Hacking Hardware and Bump's Western Wear., Last night at 7 o'clock the Bridgeland and Fort Duchesne teams led off, with the two Myton My-ton teams , tangling in the 8:30 game. A set of ground rules have been set up regarding base running and overthrows, and the type of ball that must be used. It is noted that each team must furnish one leather leath-er softball and must have its roster ros-ter in before playing the first game. Sixteen players are the limit, lim-it, and can not be changed during the two weeks of play. A team starting off with less than 16 players may add up to that number, num-ber, but can't drop one player to Dick up another.
