Show Mrs. Violet Genlry Mrs. Bertha Angus Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones and daughter, Nadine, came in from 'Denver, Saturday, to spend the summer here. Mrs. Davis, of Arimo, Idaho, is making a visit with her daughters, Mrs. Tuff Reay and Mrs. Dean Washburn. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jensen are Salt Lake visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon returned home Thursday after a few days visit with their daughter, Mrs. Max Hartman, of Mt. Emmons. Wesley Washburn, of Spanish Span-ish Fork, visited his mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen, and his little daughter, Judy, who is staying with her grandmother. Tex Davis, of Vernal, was a business visitor in Ioka, Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. Senior Morten-sen Morten-sen called on Mrs. Myrtle Nel-sen, Nel-sen, of Upalco, Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry and children, Mrs. John Brice and Mrs. W. G. Gentry spent Sunday evening at Myton with Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry. Evelyn Fausett and Louise Gentry enjoyed a slumber party par-ty at the home of Joan Van Tassell, of Bridgeland Thursday night. Mrs. Esther Burton, of Myton, My-ton, spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Gladys Dart. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote and children went to Levan Friday to' take care of some business and visit with relatives. They returned Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell were Vernal visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Webb have moved with their family to Artesia, Colo., where Mr. Webb has work. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and daughter, Bette and son, David, were Provo visitors on Wednesday.. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison Harri-son and baby, of Roosevelt, were Ioka visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival Perci-val received word last week that their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott, have a baby boy. Mrs. Scott is the former Lucille Percival. Mrs. Maggie Lloyd and daughter, Dean, went to Salt Lake City, Saturday for an extended ex-tended visit with relatives. John E. Webb was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Sunday, after taking suddenly ill. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spencer Spen-cer and family returned home from Salt Lake City, Monday. They have been-6taying in Salt Lake to be near their daughter, Connie, who has been in the hospital recovering from burns. Mr. Spencer's hands are healed quite well. They were burned when he put the fire out on Connie's 'clothes. At conference, Sunday in Roosevelt, Ariel Mitchie was sustained as stake superintendent superinten-dent of Sunday Schools, Evan Percival as first counselor. Mrs. Wayne Sweat and new baby daughter, of Vernal, are staying at the home of Mrs. Sweat's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson. |
