Show Enter Tourney Mr. David Gailey and Mr. Ken Bearden took the basketball basket-ball team to Monticello for the Regional Tournament Wednesday. Wednes-day. The boys are Gary Jessen, Bob Fieldsted, Dee Farnsworth, Clyde Goodrich, Lyle Oman David Hislop, Robert Alexander, Alexand-er, Don Carroll, Max Brother-son Brother-son and Alton Thacker. Mrs. Arnold Powell was in Salt Lake for a week visiting her folks. BIRTHDAY DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Linden Hansen were guests at a birthday dinner din-ner in honor of Mrs. Hansen, given by Mr. and Mrs Hershel Iorg last Monday. Other members mem-bers of the family, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell and family, met with them later to help celebrate. Mrs. LeVerda Powell and Mr. and Mrs. John Bird of Salt Lake City visited in Mt. Emmons last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. David Gailey and family went to' Odgen for the weekend. Mrs. Gailey and sons remained for one week. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson Steven-son were in Salt Lake on business busi-ness last Wed. and Thurs. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Bearden went to Salt Lake last week to visit their folks. Mr. and Mrs. Ray cook and family, of Price, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Perkins. SIXTH BIRTHDAY Charlene Hartman celebrated her sixth birthday anniversary last Wednesday with a party. Those of her friends who attended at-tended were: Dora Ames, Kent Dastrup, Katherine and Debbie Berrett, Fletcher and Becky Hartman, Mayla and Roger Mitchell, Joanna LaRose, Jackie and Nancy Mecham, Jane Lambert, Lam-bert, Valerie Hansen, Jeanie McConkie, Cindy and Randy Hartman. A family supper was held later to mark the occasion with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hartman, Mr. and Mrs. Floid Hartman, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Hartman present. Mr. and Mrs. James B. Lemon, of Ioka, who were house guests for four days last week, were also there for the dinner. Ashel Bingham, of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Good rich, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday Sun-day afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Miles spent Monday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby. Mr. and Mrs. Bovee Mecham visited Sunday in Neola with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Young, of Clearfield, and Curtis Dastrup were visiting over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup. Lawrence Young went to Salt Lake Saturday to get his wife and children, who' had been there for a week. They returned home Monday evening. Mrs. Wesley Thacker and children arrived here from Bar-stow, Bar-stow, Calif, to take care of some business. Her son', Ralph, has come home to finish school. ReNae Stevenson entertained 30 of her friends at a birthday party the evening of March 2, to celebrate her sixteenth birthday birth-day anniversary. |
