Show BYU Plans Active Summer Sessions Applications for admission to Brigham Young University summer school should be made by May 8, it was announced today by Dr. Ariel S. Ballif, summer school dean. Registration has been set for June 14, and classwork for the first term begins June 15. The term will end July 16. Registration for the second term will be July 19, and class-work class-work "will start on that day. The term will end August 20, the date set for the seventy-ninth seventy-ninth Summer Convocation at the Provo university. According to Dr. Ballif, a student stu-dent may register for either term, but is encouraged to register reg-ister for both summer school trms on June 14. One of the richest offerings in the history of BYU summer school has been prepared for this summer session, Dr. Ballif said. An outstanding array of authorities, artists and lecturers lectur-ers have been booked for both sessions. The academic staff will include eminent men in their respective fields' now members of the BYU faculty, and guest faculty members of renown. Approximately 200 of the finest authorities in their area have -been appointed to teach during both summer sessions. ses-sions.
