Show Public Welfare Rolls Show Decrease In 1952 During May, 1953, there were 221 welfare cases in Duchesne County. Included in these cases are 367 persons. Total expenditure expendi-ture for assistance during May was $15,661.43. There has been a 6 per cent decrease in the number of cases since May, 1952, and a 2.7 per cent decrease in the amount of assistance payments since May, 1952, reports Lowell G. Coleman, Cole-man, director of the Duchesne County Department of Public Welfare. During April and May of this year, 576 lbs. of surplus butter was distributed to welfare cases through Duchesne County. |
