Show UBIC Vill Feature Department For Women's Crafts There will be a handicraft and hobby department for women wo-men during the UBIC, announces announ-ces Mrs. Parley Rawlings, chairman of the ladies' department. depart-ment. Women are urged .to enter any type of handicraft for display, dis-play, such as quilts, rugs, lamp shades, fancy work, upholstering, upholster-ing, ceramic and textile painting, paint-ing, needlepoint, etc. Articles will be on display in the recreation recrea-tion room of the Roosevelt stake house. Various women's departments will be held each day, with a clothing specialist, a child phy-sychologist, phy-sychologist, and others noted in their respective fields to give talks, demonstrations, etc. during dur-ing the three-day event, The department the first day, Aug. 5, will be held from 2:30 to ,3:30; Aug. 6, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., , and Aug. 7, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Everyone interested in displaying dis-playing the handicraft articles is asked to contact Ellen Raw-lings, Raw-lings, who will receive them all afternoon of August 4 at the LDS stake house. |
