Show Newlyweds Are Honored At Reception Mr and Mrs. John W. Tucker were visitors during the past week at the home of Mrs. Tucker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray. The young couple were married May 26th at Las Vegas, Nevada and have been honeymooning in Arizona, Mexico, and California. They were honored at a reception Friday evening at the Murray home where more than 100 guests gathered to extend congratulations con-gratulations and good wishes to the newlyweds. Mrs. Rex Lamb and Miss Joyce Thorom were in charge of the gift room while refreshments were arranged by Mrs. Jack Gingell, Mrs. Rollo Thorom, Mrs. Loyal Perry, Mrs. LaVor Dennis and Mrs. Glen Gilbert. The bride, the former LaVora Murray was physical education instructor at Dixie College while her husband was Dean of Students at Dixie Col-' Col-' lege and both anticipate returning return-ing to St. George to resume their duties as members of the faculty at the opening of the school year. Mr. and Mrs. Tucker Tuck-er left Monday for Los Angeles where Mr. Tucker will be employed em-ployed until fall. Among the out-of-town guests who attended the wedding re-v re-v ception of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tucker were Mrs. Rollo Thorom and Miss Joyce Thorom of Sandy. Miss Thorom was a member of the Myton Elementa-ary Elementa-ary School faculty a few years ago when she and Mrs. Tucker taught here. Others were Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Dart, Mrs. Sena Kempton and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Thompson of Price, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Preece, Mrs. Edith Nell Van Do'orne and Mrs. TVm. Forsythe of Roosevelt, and members of the Murray, Winkler Wink-ler and Mathews families from Mt. Emmons. 1 |
