Show Reception Honors Mr. & Mrs. Price A wedding reception and dance were held Friday, June 26, at the Mt. Emmons ward hall m honor of Mr. and Mrs John Price. Mrs. Price, the former for-mer Frances Wall, is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs Len Wall, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. Price is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Price, of Vernal. The couple were married June 12, by Bishop Johnson of Vernal. The receiving line consisted of Mrs Len Wall, Mr. Len Wall, Mrs. Joe Price, Mr. Joe Price, Jay Wall, a brother of the bride, who served as best man; the groom, the bride, Miss Norma Nor-ma Wall, sister of the bride, who served as maid of honor; Mrs. Jay Wall, who served as matron of honor, and Mrs. Alice Jenkins, sister of the groom. Mrs. Price's wedding gown was white satin entrain, with buttons down the back of the bodice, lace insertions on the sides of the bodice, and a sweetheart neckline. The fingertip finger-tip veil fell from a seed pearl tiara. Hex bouquet was red roses. Mrs. Pete Wall was in charge of the guest book, Josephine Wall and Marilyn Atwood were in charge of the gift room. Dancing Dan-cing was to Larson's Orchestra Out-of-town visitors for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Price, of Vernal, and other relatives rel-atives of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stevenson, Mr. and ; Mrs. S. E. Atwood, Mrs. Hyrum Smith, Mrs. Nile Smith, Miss Norma Wall and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wall, all of Salt Lake. I Mr. Cecil Wall sang two numbers num-bers during the intermission. Members of the immediate families served the guests. The new couple will make their home in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Bovee Mecham went to Logan and back on Friday Fri-day of last week to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Squires and to bring back a new Pontiac. Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Hansen are entertaining grandchildren, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs Paul S. Hansen, of Stockton, Calif., for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Vaughn Hansen, of Logan, Log-an, and her five children, are visiting with her sister-in-law, Mrs. David Gailey, for five days while Mr. Hansen is on a fishing trip in the Uintas with Mr. Gailey. Miss Bernice Boswell was home over the weekend with her folks. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Peterson were recent weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Linden Hansen Han-sen and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen. Han-sen. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne He It. of Todd's Park, brought Brent Baxter home to his parents and visited with them for two days. Brent has been with his grandparents grand-parents in Idaho. Ellen Cook spent a week with her grandparents, Mr. and. Mrs Volney Boswell. She returned home to her parents, Saturday, and her brother, David, will stay for two weeks. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cook, of Salt Lake City. Farrell Mohlman and Wm. Evans, who are attending the University of Utah, were home for the weekend. Miss Peggy Case accompanied them back to Sal Lake and will stay with her sister, Mrs. Moyle Parker, in American Fork for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Parker, of American Fork, have a baby daughter, born Monday, June 29. Mrs Parker was formerly Deane Case. Mrs. Pete Nielsen spent several sev-eral days last week visiting her sister, Mrs. Karl Allen, in Vernal. Ver-nal. Mrs. Johnny. Lambert went to Salt Lake City, Tuesday of last week to take her son, Denny, co the doctor. |
