Show Norman Mangum Married In Cortez Norman Mangum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Squire Mangum and Miss Wanda McGee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray McGee, of Cortez, Colorado were united in marriage in a beautiful home wedding at the home of the bride's parents on Sunday, Sept. 13. Mrs. Squire Mangum attended attend-ed the marriage of her son. Norman returned to' the Navy Base and Jacksonville, Florida on 'Sunday and his wife will remain re-main with his parents for a while. Mrs. Kathleen Robinson, of Sacramento, Calif, is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon and also with her brothers and families in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Frandsen, Keith Todd and Miss Pat Wills attended a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Olsen one night last week. Carolyn Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. "Tex" Ross, sang at the funeral of Gene Sheffer, held at Randlett last week. I Bishop and Mrs. Golden Col-, lins attended a meeting at the church mine near Orangeville, during the past week, presided over by leaders of the L.D.S. ! church. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook, I Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger j and daughter, Barbara, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd and Joanne, Mr. and Mrs. Max Todd, Keith iTodd and Miss Pat Wills, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Frandsen, Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Johnson and Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Golden Collins were among those from Ballard who attended the wedding reception re-ception of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Todd at Bluebell on Saturday evening, Sept. 19. A shower was given in the Relief Society room on Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Norman Mangum. Man-gum. A group of over twenty ladies were present. Games were led by Mrs. Ardis Kettle, after which refreshments were served. The new bride received some lovely gifts. Roger Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen, went to Salt Lake City on Friday to visit vis-it relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Florence Preece and daughter were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd on Saturday. Mr. Preece had stood as best man at the Howard Todd reception. recep-tion. Mrs. Glen Eldredge and Mrs. Lynn Bracken motored from Salt Lake City to Logan to go through the L.D.S. Temple there on Thursday. Mrs. Squire- Mangum brought a load of peaches in for the people of Ballard this week. , Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd, Keith Todd and Miss Pat Wills, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Johnson and Mrs. Ferrell Mohlman, of Bountiful, witnessed the marriage mar-riage of Mr. and Mrs. Max Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Todd in Logan on Thursday. Miss Joanne Todd stayed at Bountiful Bounti-ful to care for the Johnson and Mohlman children. Jack Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. who has been employed by Hi-Land Hi-Land Dairy in Roosevelt for several years, is employed now with the same company in Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham Bing-ham and son, Frank, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder at Altonah on Sunday. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton and son. |
