Show Mrs. Ethel Beebo Tyron Kolb Home From Hospital Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb brought theis son, Tyrone, home from the Roosevelt Hospital, Sunday afternoon. Then Monday, Sept. 14, Mrs. Kolb and Mrs. Louis Reese took him to Salt Lake City to a bone specialist. Tyrone was run over by a tractor Sept. 4th and broke his pelvis bone. The break is not mending as it should. They returned home with the information that Tyrone will be confined to his bed for six weeks. Shanna Atwood returned return-ed from the BYU, where she is a student with Mrs. Kolb and Mrs. Reese. We all wish Tyrone a speedy recovery. Mrs. Dora Bird and girls spent last weekend visiting in Carbon County. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones, of Salt Lake City, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ralphs, Sunday. Mrs. Jones is the former Jennie Reed, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. George Reed, and was one of the first babies born in Altonah. FAMILY GETS TOGETHER j A family get-to-gether was held at the home of Mr. and I Mrs. Wm. E. Clark, Sunday, i Those present were Mrs. Jane Gygie, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Burrows Bur-rows and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Saris, all of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Mendes, son and daughter, of Palmerton, Pr.; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kappas and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Turner and family, of Mapleton; Mrs. Harold Morris and family, Lavar Morris and daughter, George Mecham and Mrs. Ethel Beebe. Mrs. Mary Carroll, son, Gene, accompanied by Mrs. Vendetta Clark, went to' Salt Lake City, last weekend to take Pfc. Dale Carroll, on his return trip back to Camp after a furlough. He i reported to Washington. I Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Johan-son, Johan-son, of Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monsen, of Ogden, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Daniels! and daughter, of Ft. Duchesne, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman LaRose. They also called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. j Sharlene Young, who is attending at-tending school in Salt Lake, spent the weekend at home. Mrs. Elva Snyder and Mrs. Gerald Jacobsen visited in Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Snyder received a medical check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Catcott and son, Garry, of China Lake, Calif., are here spending a two weeks vacation with Mrs. Cat-cott's Cat-cott's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. The Catcotts and Mrs. Smith visited in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone and attended the State Fair. Mr. and Mrs. . Harold Ralphs and two small children and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ralphs made a trip to Salt Lake City, Provo and Lehi recently, where Mr. Ralphs received medical care. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Duns-more Duns-more returned home Sunday from a trip to Idaho Falls, Boise and Yellowstone Park. BREAKS COLLAR BONE Steve Dunsmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, broke his collar bone when he fell off the slides at school last week. He was taken to Roosevelt for medical care. He is getting along nicely. Albert Snyder, of Springville, arrived Tuesday for a visit with his mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and other relatives. Primary will be held on Tuesday Tues-day afternoons instead of Thursday. Thurs-day. Rex Allred received his call for the U. S. Army and left Tuesday, Sept. 15 for duty. Jesse Jacobson, of Provo, was a dinner guest of his aunt, Mrs. Mary Bowden, Saturday. Mrs. Lester Maxfield and son, Perry, made a trip to Provo, Friday,- for some fruit. Mrs. Mary Bowden and son, Louie, visited with Mrs. Frank Bowden and Lionel Bowden in Myton, Tuesday. |
