Show Iona May Snyder Is Bride Of Edwin C. Hall Brisk fall days seem to be as popular for weddings as the flower-filled days of June; and adding her name to the list of recent brides is Miss Iona May Snyder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Snyder, of Myton, who became the bride of Edwin C. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Hall, of Salt Lake City, in a ceremony performed September 10 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. President Young officiated at the ceremony. On Sept. 18 the young couple was honored at a reception at the Myton LDS chapel. A fall theme was featured in the decorations which featured a turquoise blue and gold color scheme. Striking arrangements of yellow gladioli and marigolds banked the stage while yellow 1 chrysanthtmums, marigolds and dahlias centered on either side with' lighted turquoise candles, formed the table centerpiece. The new Mrs. Hall greeted her guests in a gown of white satin with high pointed collar, and full bouffant skirt of nylon illusion with nylon embroidery! trim. A nylon and pearl em-j broidered bonnet-effect tiara held her fingertip veil of brides illusion and she carried a bouquet bou-quet of white carnations, yellow yel-low and bronze roses. Mrs. : Grant Fredrickson and Mrs. Bruce Hall, sisters of the bride, were her attendants and wore ballerina length gowns of turquoise tur-quoise and yellow respectively, i Their bouquets were of white gardenias, yellow and bronze' roses. i I The mother of the bride chose a grey and rose print dress and wore a corsage of gardenias and gladioli. Best man duties were performed per-formed by Bruce Hall, the groom's brother. Serving during the evening was under the direction of Mrs. John Gingell, assisted by Miss Sherrill Richens and Miss Elaine Chandler. Gifts were in charge of LuDean Anderson, Naomi Gilbert and Lorna Livingston. The program which was presented pre-sented during the evening featured fea-tured songs by Naomi Gilbert, Mrs. Garth Anderson and daughters, LuDean and Beverly; readings, by Mrs. Howard Roberts, Rob-erts, Mrs. Jay Hall, Mrs. Afton Richens and Mrs. Lila Carter. A honeymoon trip , through Southern Utah Parks and Hoover Hoov-er Dam, Nevada was enjoyed by the young couple before their return to Provo, where they will both attend the BYU. - ' : I Y 't ,.. , , ' ' ' ; - """"i ' , t MRS.
