Show Tea Fetes Bride At EMea's Home Approximately seventy - five guests called at the J. V. McLea residence Tuesday afternoon between be-tween the hours of 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. to meet the new Mrs. Jack Y. McLea, whose marriage took place in the Logan LDS Temple Friday, September 11. She is the former Nancy Fae Stallings I of Corinne, Utah. Receiving guests besides the recent bride were her mother, Mrs. Byron Stallings, her sister. Miss Sherma Stallings and her mother-in-law, Mrs. J. V. McLea. Mc-Lea. Co-hostess for the tea was Mrs. Varney McLea. The tea table was covered with a lace cloth and centered with an arrangement of pale yellow gladioli and roses in a low crystal bowl. Tall white lighted tapers in crystal candle-abra candle-abra completed the motif. Presiding Pre-siding at the tea table during the appointed hours were Mrs. Cliff Memmott and Mrs. George Miller. Mrs. Eugene Harrhston was in charge of the serving, assisted assist-ed by Mrs. Varney McLea and Mrs. Kent Johansen, and receptionist recep-tionist was Mrs. Gordon Harms-ton. Harms-ton. The gift room and signing of the guest book were under the direction of Mrs. R. S. Jordan. The newlyweds are making their home in Logan for the present, where Mr. McLea will continue his studies at the U.S.A.C. |
