Show By Carl Holley It's a pleasure to announce the Utah National Parks Council Coun-cil Colorado River Exploration for Explorers. Qualifications for the event include being able to' swim at least 50 yards, being be-ing able to cook, having had at least 10 days and night camping camp-ing in the past year and making mak-ing reservation of $5.00 to the Council Office. The whole event including transportation from Provo to the jumping off point at Hite and the return from Lee's Ferry will be less- than $50.00. The trip will run 167 miles down the Colorado during which time there will be one of the finest comradeships with the best young men in all America, a chance to advance in the Explorer program, a challenge in meeting one of America's greatest rivers, a chance to see God's handiwork, the thrill of seeing Rainbow Bridge at sunrise, Sunday morning services in beautiful Bryce Canyon and the use of fine equipment. The first expedition will leave Provo May 24th and return re-turn June 2nd. The second expedition ex-pedition will leave Provo June 4th and return on the 13th. It will be 10 jam-packed days of adventure and fun. Applications are now being taken at the Council Office on a first-come, first-served basis. . . . Don't wait.
