Show Uintah Basin Tax Office Opens In Vernal Next Week A branch office of the Utah State Tax Commission will be opened in Vernal next week to serve Duchesne and Uintah counties. Announcement of the tax commission move to expedite expe-dite the handling of Uintah Basin business was made by J. Ferron Hacking. Vernal, who will manage the new branch office. Mr. Hacking will establish permanent headquarters in the Uintah county court house and will m a i ntain an itinerant schedule at Roosevelt and at Duchesne. He will spend Monday and Tuesday of each week at Roosevelt issuing driver's licenses on Mondays and motor vehicle licenses on Tuesdays from the city hall. He will issue drive's licenses licen-ses and motor vehicle licenses licen-ses from his Vernal office, on Thursdays and Fridays, respectively. respec-tively. On the last Wednesday of each month, Mr. Hacking will service driver's licenses at Duchesne.
