Show FT. DUCHESNE S5X5X5X5X5XSX2X5SSXSX5X5X5X5 Special officers, Grant Mag-leby Mag-leby of Salt Lake City 1 and James G. Jebo of Wendriver, Wyoming, spent last week at Ft. Duchesne. Irma Sutteer left Thursday to visit her husband at Camp Pendleton, Pend-leton, California. Edna Laud left Monday for San Diego, where she will meet her husband, who has just returned re-turned from overseas. Jack Harris of Fort Washakie is here visiting his father, Henry Harris who is seriously ill. Word has been received by his parents that Max' Odekirk has arrived from overseas and is now at the Latterman General hospital, San Francisco, Californ-1 ia. Mrs. Odekirk also received word that her brother, Clarence N. Dean F 1-c of U S Navy was seriously wounded at Iwo Jima and was flown by plane to a Navy hospital in Hawaii. Clarence Clar-ence was a former resident of Roosevelt having graduated from Roosevelt High in 1933. His wife the former Myrle Kelly and three children reside at Midway. Friends of Harlow Burt regret re-gret very much to hear of the death of his son, Gordon, who was killed in action some where in the Pacific. The Women's club held its semi-monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. E. B. Jermack The president, Mrs. George Dav' gave a very interesting paner subject, "Men who made Am erican Traditions". Plans were ( made for a card party to be held ' Saturday, March 24. Proceeds to go to the Red Cross. P T A Meeting The P T A held its monthly meeting at the school house Mon day evening.
